"Today I have nothing to remember."
January 16 is National Nothing Day.Nothing is not just a void. It may be a day of rest, a day NOT to plan anything important, or maybe not to plan at alll, a day to "hang out" wherever any path may lead. But there is no evidence that Congress passed any vote about nothing (giggle, giggle), so is it really National Nothing Day?
Regardless of its national status, some people had a lot to say about nothing.
"Nothing that is worth knowing can be taught." Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)
"I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about." Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)
"Nothing can come from nothing: Speak again." Shakespeare from King Lear
"Is whispering nothing?" Shakespeare from The Winter's Tale
Shakespeare wrote a whole play on the topic, Much Ado About Nothing

And let's not forget, Seinfeld had a long-running TV series about nothing.
Happy Nothing Day. Or, Peaceful Nothing Day. Maybe Merry Nothing Day. Anyway, Enjoy Nothing Day.
